As certified and/or licensed hospices, we are required to offer spiritual care to patients and families. The hospice philosophy of spiritual care is to allow patients and family members an opportunity to explore spiritual issues in a confidential, non-judgmental and supportive manner. This session covers cultural implications of various cultural and religious groups in the death and dying process (Hindu, Buddhist, Jewish, Christian, Muslim, Amish, African-American, Hispanic).
